I recently stayed at a hotel in Istanbul and had a great experience. the location of the hotel was perfect. It was right in the center of the tourist area, making it easy to explore all the historical sites and shop at the nearby markets. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, despite their limited English. They went above and beyond to assist us, such as keeping our forgotten belongings safe. Lastly, the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff did a great job of cleaning our rooms daily and providing fresh towels. Plus, the individually controlled air-conditioning was a welcome relief during the hot summer days.

There was nothing that I found lacking during my stay.

The hotel is very convientenly located in the city center. it is very close to the metro station and right on the city bus routes. It is within walking distance from shopping areas and the main historical sites ( about 10 minutes walk). I guess for the price, it is ok.

The A/C in our room did not work and it took a while before they transfered us to a new room. The pool was under constraction the whole week we were there although it did not say so in their website. In general. The hotel never answered my e-mails.

There is no restaurant in the hotel for lunch & dinner. (Only Breakfast is available)

The hotel is very good, clean, comfortable, modern. A wonderful girl Katya works on the reception desk, it separate thanks for the kindness, the hospitality and assistance and a beautiful smile

Our stay at Grand Emin was fantastic. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to transportation options. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and spacious. We especially loved the convenient metro ride to the airport and the tram to the old part of the city. The hotel provided great value for the price we paid. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Istanbul.

wireless week or no wireless at all, heating bad

Points - All that I did not like @ the hotel:- 1) a/c was not working 2) lights in the room @ the entrance were not working 3) Bathtub had a big leakage which caused the water to spread in the bathroom 4) Housekeeping was pathetic - linen & bedsheet were often kept on the bed & no vacumm was done in the room inspite of repeated requests 5)Breakfast was closed @9:40 although the time was until 10am. Breakfast had no options. Milk was stale & smelly. Cakes were not fresh and very hard. 6) Reception staff were very arrogrant & not helpful. They had very little knowledge about sight seeing. 7) Plants (big size) were kept in the room which caused small insects and flies. 8) Pool was dirty and was rarely cleaned.lots more to write but space const

I recently had a stay at this hotel and overall, I was quite satisfied with my experience. the location of the hotel is excellent, right in the center of the tourist area. It was very convenient to have easy access to the tram and underground, making it effortless to explore the city.

Although there were some minor inconveniences, overall, my stay was quite enjoyable.

The good thing about the hotel, is the friendly staff at the reception (one of them) and the location of it ! .. You can goto any place from this location and its close to everything (using tram or taxi)

- The bar/fridge was empty in the room ! - our room had no place to hung our cloths (or put them) as it was occupied by bed sheets =) - The Hotel rooms is too small, the t.v. set sucks ! the A/C in our room wasn't cooling enough - Speaking of the toilet !! Don't except any amenities from them ! bring your own except the towel ! The shower tub is too small and you need to climb to get there !! and by the time you finish your shower ! you will find the floor wet !

I can't really complain about the hotel because we paid only 40 Euros per night, and it was worth it for that rate, but it was not really as advertised.

The cleaning service was inadequate and the breakfast not very good. The rooftop pool is really a dirty glorified kiddie pool and the poolside bar does not exist.

I had a great stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and close to attractions. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly. Additionally, the hotel facilities were clean and tidy.
